I like health and I like beauty how to combine the two into a career?

I was thinking something that doesn't take much school, like esthetician(skin care specialist) or massage therapist. What do you think?

I am going to be starting school in Jan (going back) for Esthetics (skin care) and I was just curious if there is anyone here that is and Esthetician and what your view on you job is and things of that sort.

Career Help! Esthetician/Nail Technincian vs RN?

Hello everyone. I am a first year college student and just want some insight. I ultimately want to become a pediatric nurse. But I also want to go to beauty school. Ever since i was young I always loved beauty and i want to get into aesthetics. I always told myself i would get into it someday. I feel like my life wouldn't be fulfilled if I don't do it.I am scheduled to start my nail/skin care combo classes in May. Question is: Would it be worth it getting in to both, being an esthetician or nail technician while going to school for nursing? Or should I just choose one career and just go for it. Would going to beauty school be a waste of money? If it is, why? Thanks guys.

I mean be professionally in all 3 of them? I love makeup, hair and skin care! I'm going to school for cosmetology and my dream is to have my own business, like bridal. But I always hear that you can only be good at one. Is that true?

apply for more than one position at sephora?

im moving to jacksonville in about 2 weeks ~ i really want to work at sephora. I am a licensed esthetician in the states of pa and fl with extensive training in microdern, chemical peels, light therapy, and sales. i have about 3 years experience in skin care and retail sales. i want to apply for the esthetician position but if that is not available i would also like a sales or keyholder positin. Is it okay to state that and apply to all three positions in my resume/cover letter?

what school is good for skin care?

I am currently 25 and want to go to school to do something in skin care. I dropped out of sfsu 2 yrs ago due to financial difficulties , i now know that i want to my own business one day through experience and become an esthetician. i dont know what school /university would be best or who to talk to. please help.

help! What wage should I ask for…..???

Theres a huge chance I will be working at Estee lauder counter soon. I jut graduated from beauty school and I majored in skin care. So I know how to do facials, and make up, chemicals, and all the knowledge of everything to know about the skin/makeup. Right now I am a assistant Manager. So with my history of management, and esthetician license. What wage should I ask for???? i dont want to cut myself short!!!!

Esthetician vs Makeup Artist?

I'm looking into beauty school and I am very interested in becoming a makeup artist but the only schools close enough to me only offer esthetics. It seems to focus a lot on skin care and skin treatments and only a little bit on makeup. I'm wondering if someone who went to beauty school for either of the two could give me a little insight on what the best program is to go into.
