what is the name of the profession in which someone performs skin care treatments and facials? i may be moving to australia from california with my boyfriend, but need to know what careers may be available for me...here in the state my profession is an Esthetician, not a cosmetologist. i practice skin care only, not hair and nails...

What is the name of this career description?? Blackhead remover…?

I want to look into the profession that deals with blackheads; it involves professionals "sucking out" all the pores from dead skin cells whilst efficiently unclogging pores. Its not microdermabrasion, dermatologist, or esthetician.

Are you a cosmetologist or esthetician?

I want to go to Paul mitchell the partner school and do both programs. But I'm scared. So if you guys could answere these few questions, it'd really help me to decide if I'm doing the right thing.

1) do you regret picking this profession?
2) Will you be happy doing this for the rest of your life?
3) What is your average salary?
4) How much is the average booth rental?
5) If you work for a salon how much do you normally get per guest?

How much on average does a cosmetology student make right out of school?

What about a nail tech. I am looking into going into cosmetology and I don't know how much to believe the schools (they will tell me anything to make it sound good). So how about you cosmetologists out there? If you don;t mind my asking, how much did you make right out of school, how long have you been doing hair? Do you like it/have you ever regretted going into this profession? Sorry theres so many questions. Thanks in advance for all hte help!
