For the holiday season, how much should you tip the aesthetician at the spa or a plastic surgeon?
I vaguely have heard the rule of tipping the cost of one visit. So, would my next visit to the spa be (0- the cost for that visit + 0 the tip?) Also, I paid my plastic surgeon thousands of dollars, does he need to be tipped too or a present for his services? And where do I draw the line on the price limit on his present? I'm so confused o_0. Help! I'm going to be so broke by the time Christmas comes around.

Can dermatologist do tattoo removals or does is have to be a plastic surgeon?
For removing a tattoo surgically.
I don't want to get laser sessions.
I hear they are very expensive and you have to keep getting them done.
I have a small tattoo I want removed.
Do I call a dermatologist, doctor or just a plastic surgeon for this?
And how much does it usually cost?

What do Miami women do to get such nice butts with no cellulite or stretch marks?
I recently went to Miami for vacation and all the women there wore these little bikini bottoms that showed their asses. And they had GREAT rounded asses-- no stretch marks or cellulite. Is there a plastic surgeon, dermatologist or aesthetician in Miami who does this work for them? I want to know where they go!!!

Hi, I am a 21 year old female who is currently attending college and looking forward to finding out a solid career choose for myself.
I am thinking of going for an LVN or Physical Therapist Assistant. However I also really love skin/beauty care and was thinking of going for an esthetician. I am really confussed and I want a job that will pay well and that is why I was wanting LVN and because I enjoy helping people.
I wanted to know if anyone knew what is the classification of the people that work in the plastic surgery offices and care for the patients after surgery/ or the people that assist the plastic surgeon during and after surgery? THAT IS MY DREAM to work with a plastic surgeon.!

Does anyone know how to find out if a doctor has any complaints against him?
I have an appointment with a Medical Spa and can't seem to find out much about the doctor. His web site says he is an accredited plastic surgeon with 10 years experience and I recognize the hospitals he is linked to, but I am having a problem finding out any info about him. Any ideas where to search?

Cosmetic Surgeon
Author: Leonard Dawson
Cosmetic surgeons are not necessarily plastic surgeons. In the U.S., laws allow any licensed physician to refer to himself or herself as a cosmetic surgeon, even without having trained as a plastic or any other kind of surgeon. This makes it important for prospective cosmetic surgery patients to check out their doctor's credentials carefully.
General surgeons have skills over a broad range of tasks, and are required to have a certain amount of creativity. Plastic surgeons are trained as surgeons, and common plastic surgical procedures include corrective surgery for burn victims, gender reassignment surgery, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose job), augmentation mammoplasty (breast implants) and many other procedures. Plastic surgeons undergo very rigorous and involved training, and their salaries reflect that. Experienced plastic surgeons can have salaries approaching million per year, while those in the earlier stages of their career can expect to earn a quarter of a million dollars per year.
U.S. Department of Labor statistics say that 15% of medical specialists are surgeons, and only some of these are plastic surgeons. Employment for plastic surgeons is expected to be abundant and well-compensated for the foreseeable future due to the increasing acceptance of and openness about cosmetic surgery in the U.S.
Cosmetic plastic surgeons must be experts at facial and body procedures. If they are board certified, they have completed a minimum 5 years of surgical training after medical school, and part of that is a plastic surgery residency program. They are trained in surgical procedures involving the face and the entire human body. As cosmetic plastic surgeons go through their training and gain experience, they must develop sound aesthetic judgment and excellent technical skills. This means that in addition to skills with surgical tools, they must have a well-developed sense of aesthetics, balance, and proportion.
Physicians who are not board certified can and do perform cosmetic surgery in their offices. Cosmetic plastic surgeons that are board certified will have privileges to perform surgical procedures at a hospital. "Board certified" means certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, whose members are trained in all plastic and reconstructive procedures. In addition to training and residency, board certified plastic surgeons must pass written and oral exams.
Cosmetic surgeons (as opposed to plastic surgeons, or cosmetic plastic surgeons) may be trained in any specialty, including ear, nose, and throat medicine, dermatology, gynecology, or internal medicine. Patients must take the time to ensure that they hire a surgeon who has the necessary experience and qualifications to perform the procedure they want with skill, care, and experience.

Nursing jobs.?
I'm enrolled into a nursing program at a local college, however, it doesn't necessarily interest me a whole lot.
I also am on my way to getting an esthetician license. My dream job: Working for a dermatologist or plastic surgeon as a RN Esthetician. However, I'm unsure if this will be a reliable job.
My question is:
Can somebody name off some jobs I can get with an RN degree.
I know that there's so many nursing jobs out there, I just don't know where to go. (Other than becoming an RN Esthetician)
