What is a good cosmetology in the Los Angeles Area?

I am currently attending Pasadena City College. I really don't like it there, it is hard to get classes and it takes forever to transfer. I have been really considering going to a cosmetology school to learn how to be a makeup artist. I want to know what school is good.
I have been considering Paul Mitchell or Marinello, are those good schools?

I know that there are schools that have platum packages that teach from nails to skin but im looking for laser and waxing type experience. I know Paul Mitchell has a program as well, but I would really like to go to a school that will get me hired and taken seriously rather then just look like a beauty school brat (no offense)

taking an esthetician course in an institute like San Fran. better than the one in my local area?

the one in Bakersfield where i live is an old building in old town. It's kool because i could get my license from them. But it's my comfort zone i think is what's making me confused. if i move to SF just to go to the institue then i would have to pull my son out of childcare and hustle to find one i could trust, pay for housing , and move our things..it's kind of obvious but they are partnered with Paul Mitchell where they get to travel annually in London to work with Real Professionals and all that fun stuff...what do you think i should do? There is a 00 difference on the tuition as well... My Husband who works at home would have to move his fax machine and all his other stuff over to SF after having moved in this home for not even 2 months yet...this is what i really want to get into and i don't know what i should do...get into a good school or just settle in and save all the headaches..? any ideas??

What is the best beauty school in Memphis?

I am looking into attending a beauty school in Memphis, Tennessee. Which is the best school? There are quite a few. Paul Mitchell, Empire Beauty School, Tennessee Academy, etc. I know that Empire has a few bad comments (from the same person) online but they are for different & distant cities. I would love to have comments, information regarding anything & everything (cost, what to expect, etc.) from some actual hair stylists.

What is the best Cosmetology school to attend in Springfield, Mo?

I want to be a top notch hairstylist! I love Aveda, but I know the school is not available in Missouri. Is Paul Mitchell second best? Are there any other good Cosmetology schools that are close to Springfield, Missouri?

thinking about becoming an esthetician ?

I was thinking about a career in esthetics. Does anyone know if the program at Paul Mitchell is any good? I was looking at the one in North Haven CT and they say that they teach esthetics at that location, but I am not sure if it the actual program or just an overview for the hair students.

Also any advice in the career and tip would be appreciated.
