How to get a job as a makeup artist without cosmetology school?

For a long time I've been wanting to get a job as a makeup artist, primarily working for a cosmetic company (such as Smashbox, NARS, Too Faced, or other higher end cosmetics) because I'm passionate about makeup and I feel confident with applying it on others. But I have NO talent whatsoever with hair, I tried to go to cosmetology school for makeup skills but I couldn't handle doing hair.

So how far could I get in the makeup industry without a cosmetology license?

Tips on getting a job at a spa/ salon as an Esthetician?

I am graduating from esthetician school next week and am eager to get a job somewhere even if it is as an intern as I don't have any experience yet. My question is, How do I go about getting an interview? Do I just go to every spa/salon I can and ask for the manager and hand them my resume? Any tips would help alot. Thanks.

What is a high paying job in the beauty field? Please help!?

Okay, I am 16 and I have finally decided what I want to do...All my life I have always cared about beauty and cosmetics! I love makeup and hair! I love to take care of my skin and eat different foods and supplements that enhance my outer beauty and inner health wise!! I dont want to sound close minded but this is what I truly love and I really want to help people as well with these things.. this is my passion and I want to find a job that involvs these things.. I told my parents that I would like to be a esthetician/hairstylist...they didnt mind but they said that the pay is not that grat for a living and they want me to go to university like my sister and become "something" in life..I understand their point and have come to the conclusion that maybe being a hairstylist/ esthetician may not be a reliable career so I was wondering is there any high paying jobs in the beauty field!! other than being a esthetician and harstylist!! please help me...I feel crushed and hopeless Im so confused and this is something that I really want to do!! please help.

australian citizenship?

I may be moving to Australia with my boyfriend in a few months, but am nervous about being an illegal citizen. He won't have a problem since he is going for work, but I do not have a job there and don't have a sponsor. Is it difficult to legalize yourself there? What are the steps in which I need to take? What preparations should I make beforehand? I am an Esthetician here in California, but my license to practice will not be valid there. Will I gain citizenship if I go back to school there? Will I be allowed to attend school if I'm not a citizen to begin with? Will I be able to just fly into the coutry to begin with as if I'm just visiting? How long would I be able to "visit" on "vacation"? Would marriage immediately make me a citizen? I am very nervous about not being able to stay there with him, so any information that anyone may have would be very helpful Thanks!

GUYS! Why wont my boyfriend marry me?

I am 21 years old. A Spa Director.Esthetician Firefighter/EMT and Have a honda cbr 600 rr [motorcycle]. I am outgoing, love to laugh, and help anyone and everyone whenever I can. It's my job.
PROBLEM!! My boyfriend of over 2 years just wont say anything about the future?? What is it about me that makes me non-marriage material? I have money. I can cook great. Love dogs. Open to having kids. Independent. He does none of this. No college degree etc. We get along great. I let him do whatever he wants. See him twice a week TOPS. What am I doing wrong??

Im 4 foot 11. Not overweight...[not that I have anything against anyone that is!] Im just starting to lose self esteem...getting pretty bummed out. ANY advice would be great!
Yeah he defiantly takes all that he can that is for sure. I do agree 21 is too young to be getting married. I just wish there was some type of momentum in the relationship. Thanks for all the input!

How To Get Rid of a Whitehead?

i don't have acne or bad skin..but i have this horrible whitehead corner of my mouth! it really hurts and it sucks because i can barely talk and i have a job where i talk to people all day. i tried using toothpaste but it only shrinks it and it gets big again. i also tried aveeno but that's not working either. help!

My mother is interested in getting certified as an esthetician but her current job (she is a flight attendant with a schedule that changes every month) makes it hard for her to attend classes on a regular basis.

What licenses are needed or helpful in landing a job as a makeup artist? I am wanting to be a certified Esthetician because people say you need to have that license in order to become one? Or at least it looks better on a resume...is this true? Any other licenses that I should know about? Thanksssss
