What license do spa personnel have?

I am looking into going to school to be an esthetician in Florida. I know that an esthetician can do waxing and facials but can they also do body wraps and all other spa services. I do not want to do massage, hair or nails. Also, does anyone know what a person working in a fancy spa near miami beach could make per year full time? Thank you.

How can I decide what to do career-wise?

I know no one here can tell me what to do with my life, but any kind suggestions would be appreciated!
I'm 28, and I've done all kinds of things, lived in other countries, traveled... and because of that I have a hard time being happy in the 9-5 world. My current job is the first I have had of that type and I'm going nuts. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people who has always known that one specific thing I wanted to do. I want to own a business, be an esthetician, a massage therapist, a writer, a photographer, a pastry chef, a teacher and a dozen other things.
I have some college under my belt, but no degree yet (always had to work full time to support myself). Now I have the opportunity to go to school online and finish my degree, and I'm torn about getting a degree in something I would enjoy (English) or something more "useful" (Human Resources, Management).
Has anyone ever been through this? How did you get through it and decide what you wanted? I don't know if I should go to a guidance counselor and just take a leap of faith, which could be catastrophic given current recession drama.

Esthetician advice please!?

I am really interested in becoming an esthetician and am looking into what is required to get a license. Can anyone give me some input as to the difficulty in getting started in this business as far as finding jobs? Is this something that I could do as a full time career and support my family? Is it expensive to get started?

How much grant money can I get for beauty school?

I am an expecting mother and I'm due this November. I really want to go to beauty school in January and I know being a new mom I won't be able to work and go to school full time. How many grants am I eligible for and how much does beauty school typically cost? I know going to a community college I would get 2500 a semester in grant money but I don't know how that works for beauty school. Help!!

Beauty school?

Do you need a GED to go into beauty school. or do they let you wait and get it befor you graduate? I dropped out in 10th grade. Started working full time. Now i want to do somthing in Beauty school. Do they want you to have your GED or can you get it while in beauty school as long as its befor you graduate?

What should i do next?

am 22 live with my boyfriend right now, we have been together for 4 years lived together for 1 going on second. We both have realized that without each other we could not be on our own. We chose to leave our family homes because his father was a raging alcoholic and my mother is mentally abusive, was physically abusive when i was younger. i work full time as a receptionist at 11/hr my boyfriend makes 13/hr as a cook we have a roommate to help with the bills but we are not saving any money. which is really scary. I want a better life for me and i know that i am the only person who can give myself that, i feel emotionally exhausted because there have been a lot of major tragedies that happened earlier in my life. I don't know were to begin and who to turn to, i don't even know what i want to do as a career, but being able to financially support myself independently is my #1 priority. I went to school to be an esthetician but my state doesn't have a lot of full time opportunity for the job and that is why i am stuck in a reception job still paying a school loan. I did get my diploma but i didn't take a SAT because my parents convinced me that it wouldn't do me any good since i am not that smart. I am so depressed i need to pick myself up badly....... any help or direction would be appreciated

How did you support yourself while attending beauty school?

I want to go to beauty school, will need to take a loan for tution. Will attend full time so not alot of time for work. I need to make a round - an hour for about 25 hours a week.

I am a massage therapist. It is too hard on me to work full time.
I am checking out schools for esthetician . The schools are telling me that I can make 40 to 70 thousand a year with this degree alone but I know that they sometimes exadurate, does anyone know what kind of work I could get and what the potential income is?
