What is the best acne cream/pills from a dermatologist?

I need a good cream when I go to the dermatologist! I have used epiduo but insurance wont cover it. I am thinking about differin or tretinion? Any suggestions? Oral pills maybe too?

my dermatologist wants me to get a chemical peel on my face as an acne treatment (for scars.) has anyone had one done before? Are there any side affects? and what exactly did it accomplish?

Have you ever had Dermabrasion?

I've struggled w/ acne and finally got rid of it w/ 5 months of Accutane. Now I've get the scars to deal with. They aren't like giant marks and holes in my face, but they're there. I'm extremely self-conscious about my appearance and long of clear skin. I have only found dermabrsion as a viable solution to uneven skin. So have you ever had it? Known someone who has had it? Or maybe your even a dermatologist with some tips. Any details on the process would be welcome.

What is it like sitting in a dermatologist's waiting room?

I'm 17 and i've had moderate acne for a couple of years. I'm thinking of asking my mom to take me to a dermatologist, but I'm just wondering: is it excruciatingly embarrassing to sit in the waiting room? It seems like there would people looking at you, knowing you were there for acne. And especially people who were there for non-facial skin problems, just staring at you. How is the waiting room set up? Any other helpful info? I really appreciate it.
