What are the steps into having a career in cosmetology?

I am 13 years old n i'm really interested in cosmetology. How old do you have to be? How much will it cost? Do i need to buy specific tools when in in school? How long will i have to be there? and exc.

How much is an average grant for cosmetology?

Learning how to do brows?

I'm interested in learning how to do brows & starting a business. Does anyone know how I could get trained to do this? Do I have to be licensed or go to cosmetology or esthetician school?

What is a better career? Manicurist or an Esthetician?

I really want to take cosmetology course but unfortunately it is an extremely high tuition. I was am looking into taking a course for a manicurist or an esthetician both which are both a lot lot more reasonable for my budget. Which one do you think is a better career plan until I can do the full cosmetology course and hopefully work straight out of the program!

Can i go to beauty school and a regular college at the same time?

Is it possible to go to a beauty school and study cosmetology while i am already attending a university or college. I know i want to do cosmetology, but can i go to a different college and major in something else at the same time? No one seems to know, but if you have an answer, please let me know! Thanks.

What do i do in high school to get cosmetology experience?

I would really like to go into cosmetology after high school, but right now i would like to get experience in it. what should i do or where should i go to do this? what are some good schools?

I mean be professionally in all 3 of them? I love makeup, hair and skin care! I'm going to school for cosmetology and my dream is to have my own business, like bridal. But I always hear that you can only be good at one. Is that true?

Financial Assistance for Esthetician School?

I'm enrolled at The Salon Professional Academy in Fargo. I will be starting in September, but I am a little worried about the money for tuition and books, which is around ,000 give or take. They can't do any financial aid that is Title IV for the esthetics program (they can for the cosmetology and such, but not the esthetics one, of course.) They take cash, credit, or a loan - which leads me to trying to figure out how I am going to come up with 7,000 (they need the money before I graduate. I have a few months, but I am only 18 and my jobs don't pay me a ton. Plus I have to find a place to live.)

So my question is...

What kind of loans should I look into? My parents don't have the best credit, but myself am excellent at paying things back - I just happen to only be 18 and don't have any established credit...

Is there any non Title IV loans that could help me?
