Beauty school..?

is beauty school a bad idea? i know that you don't get any insurance, but i hear that some make pretty decent money. i'm going to get my degree in elementary education, but on the side i would love to open up a beauty salon and do hair.

Is it a good idea to have your hair permed at a beauty school? Some say the students work harder because they are being graded. What do you think?

Can I drop out of school and go into beauty school?

Im 16 & I wanna drop out of highschool im going into 10th grade.And when im 18 I want to go into beauty school and by then I will probly have a G.E.D or a diplomia.And since I live in ny,you dont need anything like that to go into beauty school.

I'm scared I won't get a job if I get this degree?

Ok so Im really confused on what I want to go to school for, but I realy wanted to go to La James international college ( its a beauty school) to become a Esthetician, I think I would love to do that and I know I would enjoy it, but im scared I wont find a job anywhere.. So I dont want to waist my time and money on it..
Can you name some other careers where I dont have to go to school for a long time PLEASE!

i know every schoolis different but how long is it daily usually? Is it possible to have full time job while going?? So if you have ever gone to beauty school what were youre hours?? could you have had a full time job while attending?

My friend is going to beauty school but she doesn't want to just be a hairstylist. She is thinking about taking business classes after she finishes and opening her own salon, but everyone has doubts as to whether or not she's actually going to do it since business is not her thing. What can she do otherwise? Is working at a salon the only thing you can do with beauty training?
