What are good questions to ask when looking for a beauty school?

I am looking for a beauty school, but I don't know what to ask while considering. If you have a list of questions you know are helpful, I need all the help I can get with this. I am writing notes because I know when I call my mind will go blank so if it does, I will have my notes to refer to. I just haven't written anything down because I don't know what to ask! Please help!! It will be greatly appreciated!

Cosmetology or Esthetics? Which program should I take?

Hi there, I am going to start beauty school soon and can't decide which class to enroll in.

I have asked this question before and most of the answers were not that great so I'm hoping a new batch of people might get to my question.

First let me just give you some basic information about the schools in my area. In my state you can NOT offer Esthetics services with a Cosmetology License. I'm saying this because some people had told me to do Cosmetology because "they do it all". Here Cosmetology consists of 80-90% hair, and the rest is mani/pedi, basic facials, and basic waxing like upper lip and brows, and then some of the cosmo schools also touch very lightly on basic makeup. It doesn't go as in depth skin care as the Esty classes here so I'm basically at an either or situation.

Why am I having difficulty choosing? Because I am interested in and love many aspects of both, and also have dislikes about both but basically I could see myself as either a Cosmetoogist or an Esthetician.

The only thing about Cosmetology I don't like is manicure/pedicure...I have 0% interest in it and will only tolerate it because I have to for the Cosmo license.

The only thing about Esthetics I don't like is that it seems like there is less job opportunities, and I still find myself wondering about and wanting to do hair.

Some information about me:

I am male, 23, and have been interested in being a stylist since I was 13 and probably even earlier than that. I didn't really know about Esthiology when I was in highschool and recently discovered it about a year ago when researching cosmetology schools. I instantly became interested and somewhat in love with the idea of becoming an esthetician. Its hard to say which one I'd rather be doing all my life but that's what I want, a specialty...I don't want to take both courses and be dually licensed because I want to have a specialty like either being a stylist or skin care specialist...

So if you are either a cosmo or an esty, please give me som advice on how you chose your program or if you were faced with a similar situation...all advice welcome. I don't know why its been so hard to choose because you'd think one would jump out and be like hello its meee pick meee but it hasn't happened like that...

Is there any beauty school in South florida that allows teenagers to take beauty classes?

Not just because she/he wants to go to beauty school just so I could better my self on the hair,make-up, skincare.
And if so were could you take one !

Do I have to start paying back my beauty school student loans if I'm starting school at a real college?

I am thinking about going to beauty school for 15 months and do hair through my real college career. I want to make sure I'm not going to financially hurt myself by having to pay back my beauty school loans while trying to get myself through college. Any suggestions?

Does it matter what cosmetology school i go to?

I am curious if it matters what school you go to? I am planning on doing cosmetology classes at a community college or at an adult beauty school. I have also considered a school such as The career academy of beauty or Marinello's beauty school as well, although i wanted to know if it mattered. Ive been told that it doesnt matter what school you go to because every one is getting an education to pass the test to get your license. Has anyone gone through the same problem? Or is actually in the hair business?

is beauty school a bad idea? i know that you don't get any insurance, but i hear that some make pretty decent money. i'm going to get my degree in elementary education, but on the side i would love to open up a beauty salon and do hair.
