How To Get Rid of a Whitehead?

i don't have acne or bad skin..but i have this horrible whitehead corner of my mouth! it really hurts and it sucks because i can barely talk and i have a job where i talk to people all day. i tried using toothpaste but it only shrinks it and it gets big again. i also tried aveeno but that's not working either. help!
*my sister is an aesthetician and she was the one who suggested the toothpaste...

What are the pros and cons of being a medical aesthetician?

Is the pay worth the money/time for the certification/degree? Does this field require a college degree?
There has been some confusion. I do not mean an anesthetist. I do mean an aesthetician, also sometimes spelled esthetician. An aesthetician is a skin care specialist.
Info I found myself: Training to become an aesthetician takes about 10 months and costs approx. K. Additional training may be paid by employer (dermatologist, medical spa, etc.) through companies who make the equipment. Starting pay at salon is - /hour plus commission. After experience, about twice that hourly wage. Some make 5% commission on the service and 10% commission on products. These $ figures are in north Alabama.

Im affraid I may have damaged my skin doing electrolosis?

i have (fine & small) indented lines & prick marks where the needle went in in a few places, im concerned that it may be permanent, is there anything i or an aesthetician can do to treat the skin & bring it back to normal?

Can someone answer some questions I have about aestheticians?

First of all, what do they do? I've always thought they did facials, chemical peels, microderm abrasion, and stuff like that. Is this right?

Second, how much are they usually paid? Is it a pretty low paying career? Or could you make some good money?

Third, what kind of schooling would you have to go through to become one? And how long does it take?

Also, on shows like "Ten Years Younger" and other make over shows, when they get work done on their face, is that an aesthetician that they go to? Or is that a dermatologist?

Is it okay to clean makeup (concealer) brushes with shampoo?

My aesthetician advised me to do this; will it make my skin oily?

Can someone give me advice on a career?

I want to something I love, but there is hardly any jobs or money in my chosen career as an aesthetician. I was going to be a nurse, but after my third semester I dropped out because I wasn't passionate about it. However, if I did become an RN I would make more money and have a stable career. Would you rather do something you hate and make tons of money or would you rather do something you love and make very little money?

Has anyone had a deep chemical peel?

I am almost forty and I have fine lines and wrinkles, sundamage and large pores. I had a microdermibrasion about a month ago and I asked the aesthetician about the deep chemical peel and she told me about it and showed me some photos of past clients and the results looked amazing. Have any of you had one or know someone who has? Were the result good...could you notice a good difference? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a London based dermatologist specializing in black skin?

I have been living in London for two years now and I'm having the hardest time finding a dermatologist or aesthetician with experience caring for black skin—my main concern is hyperpigmentation. I live in Central London so doctors in Zones 1-3 would be ideal.
