Is medical esthetician a reliable career?

is it or not? Like People tell me first get a degree then become a esthetician.
I know i shouldnt be listening to people but wouldnt haveing a degree be worth it from college?
Im taking criminology and then want to take medical esthetician.
If you are looking for a career as an esthetician, then there is no reason to get a separate degree in an unrelated field. It’s a waste of time and money.
If you are great with people and good with skin and skin treatments, then it can be a fairly reliable career, especially if you can find work in a physician’s office.
Check out classifed ads to see if there is a need. Look around to see if plastic surgeons and dermatoolgists have an esthetician. If they don’t, then you have an open job market there that you can enter if you can convince them that it’s worthwhile for their practice.
