How to become a Medical Esthetician?

I graduated from High School in 2009 and didn't go to college right away. I'm interested in becoming a Medical Esthetician. I have not had any college experience or training yet. I've read that someone who is already a nurse, etc... can get a license for esthetics and then can be a Medical Esthetician. I havn't read anywhere though how to if you havn't been to college yet. Can I just go to a beauty school then be trained? Or do I have to become a nurse and go to beauty school?
