Estheticians, please help?
I studied to be a pharmacy technician.. which sounded good at the time. What they didn't tell me was that I had to renew my license every year which meant paying about whether I was working or not. In these tough economic times that has been very difficult to do. I've found a few cosmetology schools and have been considering going there. One school offers tremendous financial assistance where I'll pay about 10% of the full cosmetology program tuition. I'm also considering being an Esthetician because it seems like it would be a bit less hectic and a somewhat more relaxing environment which I need. My question is, do any of the beauty licenses need to be renewed? What are the pros and cons??? I'd appreciate any input from professionals please.
Im a Esthetician and no , where I live your liscense dosent need to be renewed but its good to go to trade shows and stay in with all the new products/machines /techniques out there .
Its alot of hard work despite what people might think , My main focus is on Makeup but I find facials to be fun to do and also waxing . THe cons are dealing with really rude people , which happens often .
