does this look bad to ask a spa this?

i have a few specific med spas i would like to hopefully work for once i get my esthetics license. and i wanted to maybe find a way to write them a letter seeing if there was any receptions or other work i could do to kinda get my foot in the door and learn the rope around there and hopefully earn a position as a esthetician.if not any ideas how to go about asking such a thing and make it sound proper?
Great idea! However, instead of writing a letter, call and let them know your interest. Maybe they will allow you to shadow someone for the day or week. This would gain valuable information to see if it is in fact a career you are looking for. And then inquire about a position. And it may take you visiting more than one of the local spas in your area to find one you like all aspects and would feel comfortable working there. Good luck to you.
Thats perfectly fine. You may want to go in person. Just say that you are earning your license, and want to see if you can get a secretarial job or even do an internship with their company.
Be aware though that that doesn’t mean they will immediately hire you after licensure
But good luck though
Be honest and tell them that you would like to gain experience in your chosen field, and would like to learn all aspects of the business to round out your understanding of what the clients need. You may even ask if they do a co-op program, or offer to volunteer during their busy season. I am sure that they will see that you are serious about your career!

I wouldnt just write them a letter and drop it off, any apprentice or application for a trade its much better to go in person
