Is This a Good Diet/Fitness Routine? Plus…A little venting, off the subject ;)?



Ok, I lost 25 Pounds by cutting out junk food and eating healthy. I am 145 pounds, and I am 5' 3.
My Measurments are 38-29-37 I wear a size 28. So i start out every morning with a cup of coffee, no sugar and a litlle cream. then 30 mnts later I eat a small meal, I eat small meals every 2-3 hours.
I drink 6-8 cups of water, and i lift light weights and I am on my feet all day. I wear the Sketchers fit/tone shoes, I work at a waxing center and i am onmy feet for 7 hours, but i am having trouble losing the last 12 pounds. My b-day is in 2 1/2 weeks, Any tips on how to revamp my diet and fitness routine, best answer 5 points!!! Oh and one more thing, I did post ... a while back about trying to lose weight and there was so many negative comments. I was at the time 169 pounds size12/14. So no negativity please. Oh and one more thing,I know its off subject...to those rude people who on Yahoo Answers that told me i wouldnt get my G.E.D. .... I got my High School DIploma and Graduated as a state board esthetician..... So thank you for Giving me that extra push...and I am not bragging. Just feeling really blessed and i wanted to get that off my chest!!!
I think you’re doing really great. I would say exercise a little more than you have been and the weight should come right off.
It sounds to me like you are doing really well, the small meals often thing is a good way to keep yourself full and not pick at the wrong sorts of foods. I do have one suggestion. take a look at your carbohydrate intake. I learned recently that carbs are a great fuel but you need to keep an eye on portion sizes. I was not aware of what constituted a porton until I spoke with a nutrionist and discovered that I was eating too much carbohydrate although my diet was pretty healthy.
You should be eating no more than 5 or 6 portions of carbs a day.
1 portion is
1 slice of bread or 2 tablespoons of cereal or oatmeal, or 4 tablespoons of cooked rice, pasta or noodles
I don’t know if this is any help to you but I did not know these facts initially so you may or may not. Good luck anyway.
