do you have to like to touch people for an esthetician career?
i am interested in going to school for skin care/esthetician. i like everything about it except i don't really love to touch people, it makes me a little uncomfortable. is this something you get over after time and get used to? or is it something that needs to be there from the start?
You have to be comfortable with touching people because you have to do it on a daily basis.It depends on WHY you’re not comfortable. Shy? You’ll get over it.Grossed out? Probably not.
my sister only lasted a year because she couldn’t take the touching people either, i can’t say if you would get used to it or not.
I would rather do that then giving body massages.
