How many months does it take to complete an esthetician course?

I live in SC and the website of the school i'm going to says 450 hours. And the school says classes are from 8:30am-3pm. So i'm wondering if this is just for cosmetology or esthetician classes too? Do they usually take 6 and a half hours a day? I just was wondering so i'll know before hand. So about how many months should it take me to graduate?

Why do so many women willingly rely on tedious makeup and uncomfortable clothing specified for aesthetics?

Especially considering that the majority of women don't feel that society values them predominately for their beauty and sexuality? - Seems like a big hassle for something so trivial, right?

I want to get my hair done at the Orlando Beauty School but i'm kinf of scared because 1.) Idk how much it cost and 2.) I DON'T want to look like a whop sided bobo The Clown. i just want to know is it good service and how much should I put in my pocket to get everything done like extensions and such and such.

I didnt used to care about going to college. I graduated in 01 and now Ive wasted 6 years..and Im bearly?

interested in going back to school, but I get sad that Im so behind what I could be. I did go for my esthetician license, which is what I wanted to do, but its hard to start up your own business, and Ive sorta wished I didnt waste the time or money on that profession. I feel crappy. I think about going to school now, but Im ready to have a child in the next year or so, and then I will be busy with school, and then a new career. I just feel so lost and like I took the wrong path. Is an online journalism degree acceptable?

I am studying to be an Esthetician as we speak and I work at a spa as a front desk rep in the evening. I wanted to pursue a career in beauty writing/editing for a magazine and or a newspaper. I was wondering if I took an accredited course in Journalism online, I would be able to get hired. After a few years of experience as an Esthetician of course. Sometime I feel like employers don't look at online colleges in the same Sense as an on Campus degree. Though I also know that online education is taking the world by storm. I was looking at UMassOnline because I have heard their program is extremely good.

What I am asking of you is your optinions and such on an online degree and if you think I have a chance at this.

Is the Viss IPL machine safe to use? Or any at home permanent hair removal machine?

I was looking about this new product "Viss IPL" for hair removal and skin rejuvenation/acne treater.

Are at home machines like this safe to use? I know it uses intense light pulses so I worry that it could damage my skin if not done professional by a dermatologist or esthetician.
