How do I go about asking if I can to an Apprenticeship at a spa?

I want to learn more in the Aesthetic field than what they taught me in school. I was talking to another girl who was in the same situation when she got out of school for hairdressing, and she told me that she did an apprenticeship at a nice salon, where they even paid her to be there.
Now for my question, how would I go about asking a medical spa if I can do an apprenticeship with them? Would it be better to ask over the phone, or in person, or e-mail from their website...?? And then what should I say? Something like: "Hello, I just received my esthetician license and I was wanting to extend my knowledge and was wondering if you would be willing to do an apprenticeship for me." that sounds to straight forward/cheezy to me... how should I ask?? Thank you!!

What is better for the skin: micro-dermabrasion or simple exfolating?

Are there beauty schools with short courses on aesthetics in Hongkong or Singapore?

I know beauty school students do haircuts and nails at the school for practice for low prices on clients of course with their supervisor/ teacher there but can they do extensions on clients too? or do they just practice the basics on people?

What is the best Microdermabrasion or Peel System you've ever used?

I've never had microdermabrasion or a skin peel done before but would like to try it to improve the look of my skin. I'd like to try an at home system but I see so many out there that I'm not sure which one to choose. I hear a lot of good things about Murad. Has anyone tried that one before? Thanks!

help my career!?

Im stuck. im 25 and ive been undecided career wise for way too long. I want to be an esthetician (where you do chemical peels and botox) so bad but i dont know what jobs look like in DE. Or how much they get paid. Anyone have any idea about them or any suggestions?

Quick questions about a chemical peel for acne scars ?

I have a few quick questions for getting a chemical peel for acne scars.
1. Does it actually work ? And how well ?
2. Can you get a chemical peel if you still get a few scattered zits here and there.
3. Do chemical peels help at all with acne and/or blackheads ? Or just mainly with scars and wrinkles ?

I'm getting it for acne scars since I no longer get acne and I'm 16 years old.

Becoming an aesthetician?

I'm having a heck of a time finding schools in my state that train ppl for this...the only one I found was the Aveda salon in my area...
Has anyone went through Aveda training school? Anyone a aesthetician? I have three weeks left of massage therapy school, next I'm taking courses in spa treatments that you can do as a massage therapist...but I also want to become a licensed aesthetician...is it worth it?

How does a dermatologist check a mole for cancer?

One of my moles fell off and I'm going to check with a dermatologist. But I'd like to know what they look for, how they do it, and what they might say. I know they are looking for possible cancer, but what do they do technicaly?
