i may be moving from the US (california) to Austraila in a few months with my boyfriend, but want to be sure that i can continue my career there. i am an esthetician here in the states, with a licene to practice skin care. i have heard that there arent many jobs available in the field in australia though, whicj i find hard to believe. its is a huge, profitable industry, so if anyone has any information on this career in australia, please let me know. what are the requirements? hours? schooling? licensing? oh, and by the way, i work in and am licensed in ONLY skin care, not hair and nails. ANY info would be helpful
THANKS!!!

MOVING TO FLORIDA, NEED HELP! PLEASE ANSWER (moving to Orlando area!)?
I'm currently 19, but have been planning to move to Florida when I turn 24. I have been wanting to do this since I was very young, so I know it's what I want.
Currently, I live in Central New Jersey. (In a pretty good, almost country area) I am going to school to become a Cosmetologist, so I'm aiming towards working in a Salon or Spa as either a hair dresser or Esthetician, so I'm suuuure I can find SOME kind of work in Florida.
I already have some credit built up and am working on putting money away for the move.
I do have family in Tampa and Jacksonville, but I'm not really concerned about being close to them.
I am absolutely in love with Orlando, and have wanted to move there for the LONGEST time, but I am a little concerned about actually living there.
Does anybody know a good area for me to move to? I wanted to be in either Orange County, Seminole County, or Brevard County.
Tips?
Thank you<3

5 Reasons Why Laser Hair Removal Is One of the Most Popular Aesthetic Medical Treatments
Author: July Black
Even in this uncertain economy, laser hair removal remains as one of the top five noninvasive cosmetic medical treatments across North America. Along with BOTOX®, injectable fillers and microdermabrasion, it appears that men and women still want a hair-free face and body despite higher unemployment rates, less disposable income and the rising cost of living. While the treatment ranked third in a survey compiled by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for 2009, laser hair removal came in second in another survey compiled by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. And why have more laser hair removal treatments been performed, with numbers increasing every year?
There may be a number of reasons for this:
1. More and more people are becoming more aware of their appearance and just want to look good.
2. Recent studies have shown that people do believe that an improved appearance can give them a competitive edge at work. Better image boosts their career.
3. Cosmetic surgery clinics and doctors understand the demand for the service, and are offering better pricing and discounts to attract business. For example, http://www.tcclinic.com/laser-hair-removal-toronto.php offer laser hair removal fees that are 50% off the regular price.
4. Cosmetic surgery is becoming less and less taboo, allowing more people to take advantage of it without being embarrassed.
5. Laser hair removal can also safely treat ingrown hairs without causing damage. Ingrown hairs can be extremely irritating to the skin, resulting in acne, painful bumps and roughness. The procedure is one of the most effective and least expensive ways to treat the problem.
Laser hair removal is a permanent method of treating unwanted hair growth. Anywhere on the face and body can be targeted, including the armpits and genital area. Really, the only place that any laser technology used for the procedure absolutely cannot treat is the area around the eyes. The skin in the eye area is extremely delicate, and coupled with the dangers of exposing the eyes to intense pulsed light, it can seriously damage the skin and more importantly, the vision of the patient. For this reason, patients should never treat the skin in the area immediately around the eyes. The surrounding bone (the upper cheek bone and bone at the eyebrows) is a good way to determine where the untreatable and treatable areas are located.
