how do you brighten and/or lighten white hair?

My mom is convinced you can lighten white hair. She wants her hair to be whiter. She already uses the purple shampoo that is supposed to brighten and remove the yellow. I'm an esthetician, not a cosmo, but I'm pretty sure such a thing doesn't exist, but would love to be wrong!

Please Cosmos! Enlighten me!

I want to be a master esthetician (about 1200 hrs) and a Medical esthetician. Will it work out being both?

I want to be successful doing both regular esthetician doing facials wax and stuff also I wana do botox, derm, laser as well. any advice?

Im trying to choose what to go to school for but with the way things are these days im not sure what would be a smart move. I live in north texas, so the top three im not sure about.I dont know if those businesses are doing well or will be doing well here. But they are for sure my passions. Eventually i would like to have my own business/company, so business school wouldnt be a bad idea anyway but i wanna get something else going first. Should i go for.........

-business
-medical assistant

Please any advice from people who have these occupations or also share these passions. If so, which one, how you do it and are you doing well now?!?!?!?! Also, Medical assistants! Good choice/Bad choice?!??! Anybody please im so confused. I wanna start my life already.................
See the medical assistant thing would pretty much be my easy way. It will always be in demand and its quick and a guarenteed pay check...... The other things i choose because i am good at them and i enjoy them very much. On one hand i do wanna get started right away but then i think will i be happy long term..... And im not thinkin i wanna be a ceo of some coorporate company but more something of "mine". like my own salon or resturaunt or maybe a design firm... My BIG issue is if the economy the way it is, will i be able to get a job as a medical esthetician outta school or at as cook at a nice restuarant or is there a place i could work for where i would be able to do more hands on work in the design field. How High Are The Demands For These Things?!??! Gotta pay the bills!!!

How can I begin my cosmetology education?

I am 15 years old and I am going to attend a cosmetology school as soon as i turn 17. It's something i love and have always had an interest in. I was just wondering if there is anything i could do now to begin my cosmetology education when all of the schools have a minimum age of 17?

Do you have to have a license to apply make up in a salon?

I want to get a 2nd steady job @ a salon. I'm an experienced make-up artist... but I have no license & I live in Michigan. I've tried looking it up online for Michigan's requirements but I've had no luck.

what is the difference between a facial scrub and micro dermabrasion?

I have used both and really didn't notice a difference between the 2 they kinda both gave me the same results. They simple exfoliate and get rid of all the dead skin cells still lying on the surface.

Is laser hair removal on your pubic area more painful than a tattoo on your side?

I want to get a tattoo on my side (ribs) and I want to know how much it will hurt. The only other thing I have to compare it to is my laser hair removal sessions (full brazilian). I figure there is no way a tattoo can hurt more than a laser down there. Will I be able to handle the tattoo?
