How old do you have to be to attend beauty school?

I am fifteen and a sophomore in high school and I'd like to be enrolled in beauty school and also finish high school. But I want to start beauty school ASAP! Is this possible this year?

How fast does eyebrow hair grow back?

Today, I went to a new esthetician, who tried to "trim" my eyebrows but ended up cutting off a whole chunk (the roots are still showing through). Plus, she plucked off a few extra hairs, and now my eyebrows are uneven. Usually, when I get my eyebrows done, they start to grow back in two to three weeks. So for the hair that she cut off, will it grow back faster or slower than the ones that had been removed from the roots?

What to do before laser hair removal appointment?

Ok, I have an appointment Friday for some laser hair removal. Am I supposed to shave my legs like normal, or am I supposed to leave some stubble so the laser has something to zap at. I don't want to show up unprepared either way. Thanks for the help!

How much more school do you need to be medical esthetician vs. just a esthetician?

How likely is it that a dermatologist and an anesthesiologist could open a private business together?

I'm going to dermatology and my friend is going for anesthesiology. Owning your own business makes a dermatologist about 0,000 a year as opposed to working in a hospital and getting 0,000. Same goes for any doctor. You make more if you own your own place. How would a dermatologist and an anesthesiologist go into business together? Is it possible? Is this a stupid idea?

How good are microdermabrasion and photofacials?

I am 42 years old and have been recommended microdermabrasion followed by photofacials (5 sittings each, 1 month apart) to remove pigmentation and rejeuvenate the skin. But the treatment costs a pretty packet and I want to know if its really effective. If yes, for how long? Are there any home remedies for pigmented patches? I live in a tropical region.
PS I have a normal to dry skin (in winters) and have never had a problem with acne at all.

Does anybody know about esthetics courses?

I am looking for esthetics courses for facials, body treatments, make-up artistry, and temporary hair removal.

I looked up many schools on Internet. But I would appreciate first-hand information - because many schools offer poor education for substansial educational fee. Information they provide is misleading.
