Is an esthetician a good career choice?

I'm looking into being an Esthetician but I need a few questions answered. Is the pay good? How long does school normally take? Is getting a job difficult? Thanks!!

After a TCA Chemical Peel, how long does it take for the skin to actually peel?

I did a TCA chemical peel 2 days ago. The skin did turn a brownish pink, and I have been keeping neosporin on it, but I don't see it peeling. How much longer should it take to peel or scab? Is it normal that it hasn't yet? Thanks!
I used 50% TCA and followed all instructions.

Can I go to school for cosmetology but work in esthetics’s and get licensed?

I already attended school for Massage Therapy and I figure going to school for esthetics will be similar so I wanted to try something new like Cosmo but be able to work as in esthetics along with Nails, and Hair Is that possible? Or Do I have to take separate classes?

How much to tip aesthetician for endermologie?

I'm finally getting to do endermologie (40 min. massage for cellulite) and I'm wondering how much I should give the tech. for a tip. She's also the spa owner, and the services are reasonably priced, but it's breaking the bank (for me, anyway) to indulge in this. How much should I give for her services?

Is anyone going to school for Esthetics?

I am in Jacksonville, FL and I am wanting to start school for Esthetics. I was told by "School 1" that it would be 15 months and ,000.00 to earn an occupational associates of science degree in esthetician. "School 2" is 260 hours at around ,500. and then there is the community college (School 3") which is 260 hours at 5.00. Both school 2 and 3 give me the hours required to get my license. I would love to go to the 1st school listed because they seem to teach more and is more in depth and the last two seem to be the basics. My husband makes too much for me to get any financial aid in terms of grants and I cannot afford the ,000.00. Is there any other options out there in terms of grants? Also, is all that extra money actually worth it? Is it more important to do the basic and get my licence and start working already or take an extra year, spend alot more money and then find a job in 15 months? Is school 1 worth all that money and time?

Just graduated from college. Want both cosmetologist and esthetician license. How can I go about getting both?

Is there a way to continue studying after receiving the full cosmetology license to have the full esthetician license as well? I do makeup a lot and I'm more interested in the esthetician side, but also want to have the cosmetology license as well. I am trying to choose a school to receive my esthetician lincense. Has any had any experience with any skin schools in the Seattle area? I would appriciate any feedback

Ever had liposuction or injections in a medical spa by someone other that a doctor?

Tell me your story. I am a plastic surgeon in Utah trying to find out how common this is, and where. I have seen patients whom have had problems associated with this.
Let me clarify. I am not looking for a plastic surgeon. I find some of the practices going on in medical spas with poorly trained individuals doing operative procedures. I am looking for people whom have had such an experience.
