What are the steps needed to finding a cosmetology school and find out if I qualify for a grant?
I live in Austin, Texas and I am very interested in going to cosmetology school. Do I need to find a school first, or apply for a grant? Also, do all schools require that both cosmetology and esthetics be taught together? I guess I'm trying to find out if I can only go for cosmetology.

Looking at colleges and careers and thinking about being a skin esthetician?
I just want to know peoples opinions on this. I am not doing it because I think it will make a ton of money, but I do want to learn it so I can have some college done and a career for now.
I want to know if its worth going to school for and how much you make. I don't even know how much facials and waxing costs when you go and get it done.
The school I am looking at is only about 4 months long and cost about 4 grand. I already have a shop set up that I would work in and rent a booth, and they also do nails and hair in the shop so I would get there clients if they wanted to go a an esthetician.
What do you think, is it worth it? I just want to go to school and learn something instead of sitting at a job that's going no where. I also plan to show and do different working events with my dogs so I need a job that I can easily work around that schedule.
Thoughts? Advice?
Thanks.

Will microdermabrasion or a chemical peel work to reduce appearence of stretch marks?
I have stretch marks on my hips and thighs and I hate them. I've had them for years and I've been wanting to get rid of them or at least reduce their appearence. Can a chemical peel work for me? Or how about microdermabrasion?
